North Sea Maritime Ltd. Privacy Policy Statement – Updated May 2018
On 25th May 2018 a new regulation for Data Protection comes into force, referred to as General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and it involves a few changes as it replaces the existing regulation.
At North Sea Maritime Ltd. we take your privacy seriously and will only use your personal information to provide the information, products and services you have requested from us.
What information we hold:
We hold whatever information you choose to supply us with; in most cases your name, contact telephone number(s) and email address and in some cases postal address.
What we will use this information for:
We will only use the data you provide to send you details, from time to time of our products and any boatshows we will be attending, along with any relevant news of our business or about the yacht manufacturers we represent (Alubat, AMEL and KM Yachtbuilders).
Who we will share this information with:
We will only share your name or contact information with the yachts’ builders where necessary and in the course of a possible purchase and with suppliers in fulfilment of a request. For example where you have requested to visit a factory to view the build process or take a test sail we will communicate your name and contact details to the relevant yacht builder. Or in the case of a marine supplier, where they need to contact you to arrange an appointment for fixtures, fittings or servicing that you require. In these circumstances this will be because you have agreed with us to organise this for you. We will not share your details with any other companies.
Removal or amendment of your information:
If you wish us to remove or amend, any or all, of your details on our mailing list, you can contact us to request this at anytime, by either emailing, telephoning or in writing. We promise to carry out your request within one month from the date your request is received by us.
Amendments to Policy:
This privacy policy may be changed by North Sea Maritime Ltd at any time. The revised policy will be posted to this page so that you are always aware of the information we collect, how we use it and under what circumstances we disclose it. North Sea Maritime Ltd. will ensure that your personal information is treated with the utmost respect and in accordance with GDPR (General Data Protection Regulations) on the protection of individuals with regard to processing of personal data.
