Building on Alubat's skills as builders of lifting keel, bluewater cruising yachts and working with naval architects Mortain/Mavrikios and designers CBA, the Ovni 400 has evolved into the Ovni 430. The hull of the Ovni 430's bluff inverted bow equates to a long waterline length and the optional square top mainsail improves her upwind performance even further. The centreboard retracts into the hull on a manual system resulting in a very shallow draft to access secluded coves or 'park on the beach'. A large open cockpit hosts twin helm positions, she has a large bathing platform and signature arch. Wide foredecks increase the sense of security on board whilst the optional rigid doghouse offers protection without compromising visibility. Inside her panoramic window band has the advantage of both keeping the interior light and airy and allowing crew to keep an 'active watch'. Mainsaloon seating is to port with a linear galley to starboard and easy access forward to the large owners cabin. The heads compartment is generous, with a separate shower, and provides access to the aft technical storage area.
