Those of you who know North Sea Maritime will know that we were agents for Rhéa Marine for some years and during that time we built very good relationships with all the team at Rhéa.
It is therefore with great sadness that we learnt today of the death of the founder of Rhéa, Bertrand Danglade and his passenger in a flying accident on Monday. Flying and boating were his passions and his retirement when he was going to enjoy these even more with Martine has been cut short.
Our thoughts are with Martine, the family and the team at Rhéa, especially the ‘old guard’ who had been on the Rhéa journey with him from the beginning, and the family of his passenger.
Raise a glass to him – he’d lost his ‘tache in recent years but it featured in most of his brochure shots!
