BESTEVAER 56ST

Bestevaer 56ST Description
Bestevaer 56ST
Those that have been built are classic KMY custom builds, ostensibly the same but in reality, especially in terms of interior styling and layout completely different. According to the designer, Gerard Dijkstra, these yachts are to be classified as ‘Spirit of Tradition’, being traditionally styled but showing powerful performance characteristics such as a fine entry, shallow canoe body, lift keel and a balanced spade rudder. The exterior appearance is classic, with a flush deck and a teak-cladded pilothouse. The superb painted hulls don’t give away that they are built in aluminium. Thanks to the water ballast the yachts heel 8 degrees less while sailing. And the lift keel ensure passage in shallow waters.
