ALUBAT OVNI EVOLUTION 46 – DISCONTINUED MODEL

Alubat Ovni Evolution 46 Description
The Ovni Evolution range was a new concept and design in centreboard yachts, unfortunately the 46 never made it off the drawing board – blame the financial crisis of 2008 onwards.
The emphasis was on powerful hulls with evolving chines, twin wheels and rudders and profiled keel plates to guarantee enhanced sailing performance.
But the originality of the concept was based both on the lowering of the spacious cockpit and the raised height of the mainsaloon, giving easier access between them. Added to this were large hatches, light and modern joinery, an ideal bluewater cruising yacht which aimed to marry performance, safety of the 100% aluminium construction and comfortable life on board.
